Export Formats
When you are about to embed a tour or export a customized or whitelisted link, you will have several options to choose from.
Here's a list of all the options, along with the most popular use cases for each one of them:
1. Embed (JS / HTML)
Embed codes can be used on the large majority of websites, CMS systems and blogs to add a tour or 360 photo inline. We provide two different types of embed codes. For a detailed discussion about each format, see the paragraph below.
2. Link
This is a straightforward link. You can use for direct sharing via email, IM or text message. You can also use links to add your tour to certain listing websites such as Realestate.com.au or Zillow. If you are a Kuula Business subscriber, you can also toggle between links using your own domain or the default kuula.co
domain.
3. MLS PRO
This link is for real estate agents and brokers who want to add a tour to Multiple Listing Service (MLS). MLS links come in a special domain called mls.kuu.la
and are unbranded. Tour on MLS also can't have any informsation about the broker (such as phone number, email, address, etc.)
4. Embedly
Choose this option, if you use a platform that supports Embedly. Systems that support Embedly include Linkedin publications, Medium blog posts, Matterport tags and many others.
Deep links
When exporting a tour, you can choose the exported link or embed code to point to the first photo in the tour by default or to point to any opther specific post in that tour.
To export links that point to a specific post in the tour, please check the box under the code box, as illustraded below, and then go to the post in the preview window.
Embed JS vs. Embed HTML
When it comes to embedding, the default, Javascript-based embed code style has several advantages over the HTML option. This includes fullscreen and gyroscope support on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) and better performance with multiple embeds on one page. Kuula PRO users can use the Javascript embed code to enable VR mode on iOS.
However, there are some CMS systems and publishing tools that do not accept 3rd party Javascript elements. This is why we offer the more traditional HTML solution as well. So, if the Javascript code doesn't work, try HTML.
Supported platforms
Kuula tours are supported multiple platforms. That include real estate listing websites such as Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia, Realestate.com.au, Domain.com.au, the MLS and many others across the globe. All major web publishing platforms are also supoprted, which includes Squarespace, Wix, Wordpress, Blogger and Medium.
Some platforms only allow certain providers. If Kuula is not on the list on your favourite platform - let us know and, if possible, get in touch with their customer support and ask them to add Kuula.
